FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OKLAHOMA COUNTY, OK – As winter weather approaches, the Oklahoma County road crews are taking proactive measures to keep roads and bridges safe for drivers. Crews have been out treating major routes with brine, sand and salt to help prevent ice buildup and improve traction during freezing conditions. “Our team is working diligently to ensure safer travel for our residents,” said Commissioner Myles Davidson. “We encourage everyone to drive with caution, especially on bridges and overpasses, which tend to freeze first.” Motorists are advised to stay informed about road conditions and allow extra travel time during winter weather events.
