In an effort to increase transparency in county government Oklahoma County is providing links to documents for items posted on the Board of County Commissioner agendas. As a public service the County Commissioner agendas are maintained on this server for public access and provided for information purposes only. These agenda documents are not official documents of the county until they are formally approved by the Board in an official open meeting. Until then these documents will be watermarked “pending approval” because they are subject to continual change, alteration and update. Oklahoma County is sensitive to privacy issues. If an agenda item does not have a link associated with it, there is either no document for that particular item, or the document contains personal confidential or security information protected by Oklahoma State or Federal law.

Once these documents are approved by the Board they become an official public record of the county. The County Clerk is Secretary to the Board of County Commissioners and is the official record keeper for the county. The Oklahoma County Clerk’s Office maintains the signed official records, which are available for inspection and/or mechanical reproduction within the Clerk’s Office in the Oklahoma County Office Building. Requests for official county documents should be made to the County Clerk.
