Oklahoma County, OK- Oklahoma County District 1 Commissioner Jason Lowe will host his first town hall meeting in his newly elected office. Lowe was elected to the District 1 County Commissioner seat in a special election in April earlier this year. The town hall will feature various community updates from across County offices and boards. Attendees will hear updates on topics ranging from the Oklahoma County Jail to Property Tax, Affordable Housing to Legal aid and Eviction Prevention Services, and Infrastructure.
When asked about the importance of this town hall, Commissioner Lowe expressed his excitement and eagerness to connect with his constituents. “This town hall will be for the community. I want them to feel heard and become informed on all issues they find concerning. I hope that they leave with more information and restored trust in knowing how their County government is working to improve their daily lives.” Lowe continued, “It is especially important that they know what resources exist and how to locate us, and at this town hall, they will receive all of this and more.”

The Town Hall will take place at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 26th, at Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church (1020 NE 42nd St, Oklahoma City, OK).
